Maybe it’s the pumpkins, or the apples at the apple orchards, or simply a brisk Fall sunny day. Something calls us to get outside this time of year. Some with purpose: on our way to a birthday party or running errands. But still others enjoy the drive to take in the amazing sights of the leaves changing to their brilliant colors. The real estate market is very much affected by these activities!  If we have only rain and dark for a full week, so many just stay in!  Yet when the sun comes out, this changes. We want a destination. In fact, we have had buyers attend our open houses who literally shared that that they “saw today as a good day for a drive, and a good day to have their dream come true.”  That is, the dream of owning a little more acreage, to have room for a pole shed, room to play, room for a pool, or just a little more space overall. The numbers are not in yet, but we see a renewed interest in buyers and sellers right now. Buyers are finding options as inventory increases. In fact,  in the past week, many of our seller/buyer combinations have found their home to buy. This brings them to sell their home. This offers more inventory to hit the market. It will be interesting to see how October and November shape up in this market. Stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy your Fall!
