I am sure you have a lot of questions about what is going on around us at it relates to real estate. Last week we were optimistic and that has not changed!

For now, the market is actually staying rather active! In most areas in the Twin Cities, new listings are coming on the market daily and homes are being sold every day.

Though we have not seen it yet, the expectation is that the market will hit a pause. The hope is that once we can ride out the virus, things will return to ‘normal.’ What we do not know is the timing. We also do not yet know the impact that any job layoffs may have.

John and I are keeping very close tabs on the messages sent out from our local, state and national real estate organizations. Our broker is doing live broadcasts to our 450 + agents with updates. Last week we participated in a webinar held by real estate professionals nationwide about the impact of COVID-19 and what to expect. We are closely monitoring the local market.

We continue to stay in touch with our clients and determine what makes sense for them, personally, in the coming weeks. Our sellers are still on track, our buyers are still waiting for the right home to hit the market. Admittedly, we do have a few clients who are adjusting what they are buying (add another bedroom to our search!) but few have changed their plans to make a move. Overall, we are still proceeding in a steady Spring market.

There is a lot of information out there! If there is something in particular you would like to know more about, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here for anything you need!
