How’s the market right now? We have entered a new season in the real estate market. Thankfully the changes are small, and not major concerns in any one price, area, or type of property.
Reports say that inventory increased just 1.4% last week. However, all our buyers saw a recent increase in opportunities. Some are new listings. Others are listings with new prices.
There is slowing in the market, but not in a ‘sweeping, all areas & price points’ way. In fact, my buyers are touring new listings within days of them coming on the market, considering them, and reacting quickly. Wait too long and even lingering properties are selling. This adjustment has allowed our buyers the time they need to do the research they need prior to submitting an offer.
As always, as the market adjusts, we do too. What we did to promote listings in May is already different than what we are doing to promote listings now. But we adapt, we help our buyers and sellers adapt. We are looking forward to what the market will bring as we head into the new season. Happy Fall!
