Your parents moved off to warmer climates and left you to sell the house. They left a few items they think the new buyer will need: two twin beds in your old room with your same ‘new’ bedspreads you got in 8th grade; the thirty year old couch in the family room; and the kitchen table that still shows where you etched your name as a kid. Although good for showing scale to any room, these few items will deter a new buyer, not inspire them to buy! They look at this furniture just as your parents did: ugh, how am I going to move that!? So let’s do something better. Let’s put on a fresh look! Many of today’s stagers have warehouses of furniture that reflect today’s décor. Better yet, the furniture complements the home’s living spaces. You will be pleasantly surprised at the cost. Some of our stagers don’t request payment until the time of closing. So go ahead and get rid of the old stuff. Believe me, your parents will be more excited when they hear their home is SOLD!

NOTE: The approach to staging is completely different if the home is not vacant. We can have further discussion on this as you prepare your home for sale.
