Don’t Leave Leaves Until Spring!
As the leaves fall, it’s time to roll up your sleeves (or hire a helping hand) and give your yard a little seasonal TLC. Removing leaves not only keeps your lawn healthy but also prevents slippery walkways and clogged drains later on. Tip: Remember to check your city’s curbside pickup or composting rules. Every community has its own guidelines on when and how leaves are collected.
While you’re at it, look up. Those gutters and downspouts need attention, too. Clearing out leaves and debris now helps prevent issues when snow arrives (and melts in Spring!).
But don’t forget to have a little fun! Breathe in the crisp fall air, dance in the leaf piles and enjoy the season. Soon enough you’ll be trading in that rake for a snow shovel!
