We have the knowledge and credentials!
Our lead inspector, Christopher Meis, has developed a keen eye over his ten years of industry experience in home building and repair. During his time as a handyman, he problem solved and repaired home defects from
He draws on this experience and knowledge to deliver concise, informative, interactive reports to our clients.
A typical inspection lasts four hours. For the first three hours, Christopher examines the property on his own, taking photos and notes of defects. For the final hour, the client is encouraged to join Christopher on a walk-through, where they can see, in-person, any major defects discovered during the inspection.
Reports are typically compiled and delivered within 24 hours, ensuring that clients who are in the midst of a real estate transaction may proceed in a timely manner.
While the State of Minnesota does not require or even offer home inspector licensure, Christopher is certified through InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) to conduct home inspections. He has also been IAC2 certified (Indoor Air Consultant in both Radon and Mold), enabling him to conduct radon and mold tests at the inspection property.
Christopher has lived in Minnesota for his whole life, and has spent the majority of his professional career working on homes in the Twin Cities metro. He knows how homes here are built, how they react to our unique climate, and when a minor problem in one season can become a major problem in another season.
