So what is the special milestone? In 2006, after 11 years in the real estate business, we knew that our clients needed something more. The housing market was quickly changing and it was clear that we needed to be in a position to help them face what was ahead. As you recall, 2006 was at the beginning of plummeting home values, balloon loans were coming due, and the economy was starting to struggle. We could not fix these factors, but we did ask how we could better help our clients? How could we have the tools needed to assist our clients through these times? Is there a real estate company, other than the one we were with, that also saw this change coming and was gearing up like we were? We had been loyal to a company for 11 so believe me when I say this was not easy to even think about! Then it happened: we were invited by the broker of our local RE/MAX office to hear what RE/MAX was doing to help clients. We were introduced to a company that wanted to get ahead of the impending market decline. RE/MAX wanted to position its agents to help their clients get beyond this down market. We were immediately impressed. In these ten years, RE/MAX has continued to evolve and grow. We are so proud to be with RE/MAX Advantage Plus.
