Making a Difference. It is not every day that you have an opportunity to make a contribution to your community – especially one that will last for many years to come! In November, The Right Realtors were part of the transplanting of a living tree to its new home at Veteran’s Plaza in Mound (located West of the parking ramp). The tree was initiated at this year’s 35th annual Tree Lighting event. If you have seen it, you may wonder why it has a wooden frame supporting its lights. Don’t worry, this is temporary and simply a way to protect the branches of this freshly transplanted tree. We were part of a collaboration between Westonka Community & Commerce, the City of Mound, Concept Landscaping (who sold us the tree) and North Fork Tree Farm of Delano (who moved the tree). The Right Realtors and Colin Charlson of State Farm Insurance proudly sponsored the move. A special thanks to everyone involved, including those who made the annual Tree Lighting event a success for 35 years! Stop by after dark to see the lights!
