Yet each year, each season, each open house, we see success and are reminded of their effectiveness in selling our clients’ homes!

Convenience for buyers. Buyers want easy access to homes but don’t always call their agents for showings. Instead, buyers will first drive an area they like. One year we had 5 different homes sell because of this. One was a home with a single car garage. The buyers’ agent had only been showing them two cars. Yet when the buyer stepped in to our open house, they fell in love, despite the single car garage! But for the open house, this home would not have shown up on their radar!
Another example is a buyer with their agent on a snowy Sunday. They had tried to see other homes but no one had plowed their driveways. Ours was clean and ready for the open house! It was convenient for the agent to show and sell this home to her buyer!

Advertising for an open house really showcases a home. This gives our sellers even better exposure and eye catching icons online to entice a buyer. When we host an open house, our online hits increase as do showings. And this ultimately is what sells our clients’ homes! In fact, there are homes that did not have a single showing but sold only due to the open house!
